Conditions

In order to make the booking and rental experience easier for you, we have outlined below certain requirements that you must fulfill in order to successfully rent one of our cars.

• Minimum Rental period is 1 day.

• Age requirements are between 25 and 70 years.

• Unlimited mileage when you rent our cars.

• All rates stated in quotations are in Euro (€).

• Any traffic fines incurred during the rental period will be the renter’s responsibility.

• Compass Car Hire includes fully comprehensive insurance on all vehicles, holding the driver over 25 years of age responsible for the first €350.00 Euro excess in case of damages. In case of theft, the excess is €470.00 Euro.

• We offer a 24 hour emergency breakdown service in the eventuality of a collision or a breakdown of the car.

• A valid driving licence and a valid passport must be presented when renting the car.

• A valid credit card such as Visa or MasterCard is necessary in order to hire a car. The credit card is to be used for any supplementary charges (e.g. traffic fines)  as specified at the time of booking. We regret that the card issuing institutions do not permit us to accept cards, such as Switch, Visa Delta or Visa Electron, for this purpose.

• The car should be returned as agreed – the renter will be charged for the extra time/lateness.

• We recommend you to inspect the car’s post rental condition with our staff in order to check that the car is returned in the same condition as it left our garages.
